On Friday, September 11th, starting at 7pm, the AVAC will have a Zoom presentation by Professor Teresa Ciardi, from College of the Canyons. Her topic will be "The Life of a Star: From Birth to End". There will be a dark sky star party at Chuchupate this coming Saturday, Sept. 12th. You may arrive any time on Saturday. This is an overnight star party for those interested. Please see the event on the website calendar for further information and directions.
The AVAC will be having its yearly business meeting on Friday, October 9th, starting at 7pm. We will be electing a Board and discuss topics of interests related to the club, issues and changes.
