Pluto: Who Am I? by Anisha Singh

We are all a little out there. Although we always see ourselves as part of something, we are individuals. Being individual is that makes us out there. We often discriminate against those who are unusual but then hi their eyes they see us as unusual. We all lack understanding of the universe. Understanding that can only by learning about it and letting it teach us. What's the "norm" then? "Who are we," can only be defined by what we do. But what if you never did anything to anybody? The world decides then. But when it come down to the 9th "planet" from the sun, it has been seen as many things. Really what is it? Pluto is quite a ways out there.

Pluto life goes from not existing to being a planet to being a dwarf planet and then who knows what. Most of us are what we are and stay that way. Pluto's complex life was caused by being a tiny guy and our increasing knowledge. When we found it we saw a planet. Then of course for its miniature appeal it became a dwarf planet. That's all we see. We see fact. But space, we would of never dreamed of going to the Moon or Mars. We hardly know what is out there. Space is real, but to every one of us it is a very vivid and beautiful dream. Pluto is real, but for now it can be whatever it wants to be.

Most will say we have the knowledge to declare Pluto forever a dwarf planet. Most of us are highly knowledgeable. But most of us, including me lack the intelligence and intellect to make a truer meaning than just the facts presented. We can't declare anything. We can't declare Pluto dwarf planet. We can't declare the odd one out to really be the odd one because maybe we're the odd ones. Right or wrong the only thing we must really care about is declaring who we are. Pluto doesn't talk or move, it really just exists. Facts can tell us it's a dwarf planet, but staring up into the night sky we don't care about how big it is, all we see is its beauty.

But still, what is Pluto. None of us can really say, but I see a little boy dressed blue. A little beaten, but he is a trooper. A little lonely as we can see, but he doesn't seem to mind. A little tiny, indeed, but it's spirit the size of Jupiter. It doesn't seem to mind being a dwarf planet, so we shouldn't obsess over its classification. For it's not there to puzzle us over what it is.  That's its problem.  It's there for us to see, shining and smiling in even the darkest corner.

So why not smile back?.. We are all like it, a little lost, confused, and well out there. We don't discriminate against humans for there are billions of us. There's one tiny Pluto. We are obsessing over one tiny Pluto and there is really nothing to get obsessed about. So finally, Pluto: Who Am I, what we should be: the little warrior who stands for being and individual (literally) who is just a lot out there (literally).
