Lunar Observing Group

The AVAC has started a Lunar Observing group.  Watch this page for updates on when we'll be meeting as well as pages with information and photos of some of the regions we will be viewing at various meeting of the group.

The table below contains a list of some interesting regions along with the best time to view the region.  Click on the name to see detailed information and the coordinates. The list will grow as we view more areas and work our way to an Astronomical League Lunar Observing Certificate.

We have Lunar observing logs available in Word Doc and PDF formats
